Our Role as a Third-Party Service

NYC Detox provides the following services:

• Confidential consultation and assessment services via our helpline
• Matching individuals with appropriate luxury treatment facilities
• Facilitating connections between potential clients and treatment centers
• Providing information about treatment options and facility amenities
• Supporting individuals through the referral and admission process

What We Do NOT Provide

NYC Detox does not:

• Operate treatment facilities or provide medical treatment
• Employ medical staff or healthcare providers
• Diagnose addiction or mental health conditions
• Provide medical advice or recommendations
• Guarantee admission to any specific treatment facility
• Have a physical location for in-person visits

User Eligibility and Responsibilities

Age Requirements

Our services are intended for individuals who are 18 years of age or older. If you are under 18, you must have parental or guardian consent to use our services.

Accurate Information

You agree to:

• Provide accurate and truthful information during consultations
• Update us if your situation or needs change
• Be honest about your treatment history and current circumstances

Use of Our Services

Referral and Matching

Financial Terms

No Cost for Our Services

There is no cost to you for using NYC Detox's matching and referral services. Our consultations, assessments, and referral services are provided at no charge.

Treatment Facility Costs

Treatment costs are separate and are paid directly to the treatment facility you choose. We do not collect payment for treatment services. All financial arrangements for treatment are made directly between you and the treatment center.

Compensation from Treatment Centers

NYC Detox may receive compensation from treatment facilities in our network when we refer clients who ultimately receive treatment. This compensation does not affect the cost of treatment to you and does not influence our matching recommendations.

Disclaimers and Limitations

Medical Disclaimers

NYC Detox is not a healthcare provider and our services should not be considered medical advice. We do not:

• Diagnose medical or psychiatric conditions
• Prescribe medications or treatments
• Provide medical supervision or monitoring
• Replace professional medical care or emergency services

Emergency Situations

For medical emergencies, call 911 immediately. Our services are not designed for emergency situations requiring immediate medical intervention.

Treatment Facility Independence

Treatment facilities in our network are independent entities. NYC Detox is not responsible for the quality of care, treatment outcomes, facility conditions, or staff qualifications at partner treatment centers.

Privacy and Confidentiality

Your privacy is important to us. Please review our Privacy Policy for detailed information about how we collect, use, and protect your personal information. We maintain confidentiality standards consistent with healthcare privacy practices.

Intellectual Property

All content on our website, including text, graphics, logos, and design elements, is the property of NYC Detox and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our express permission.

Prohibited Uses

You may not use our services to:

Our total liability to you for any claims arising from these Terms or your use of our services shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim (which is $0 since our services are free).

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless NYC Detox, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising from your use of our services or violation of these Terms.

Termination

We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your access to our services at any time, with or without notice, for any reason, including violation of these Terms. You may discontinue use of our services at any time.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be resolved in the courts of New York.

Changes to Terms

Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

Severability
